“I worked with Jean-Marc for 2 years with my current company, Best at Travel, and also during my time at Tropical Sky whilst he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority.
We worked closely on joint marketing initiatives including but not limited to microsites, out of home train station advertising & digital and our Antigua business has grown in each of the past 2 years.
We also took advantage of the innovative Antigua Beach Shack in Soho for industry events which was a great way to showcase Antigua in an informal setting.
I have spent a good deal of time with Jean-Marc in Antigua at industry events and I find him a very forward-thinking marketer and I always came away with a great deal of insight into the destination.”
Josh Peacock, Product Manager, BestAtTravel
Former Product Manager, Tropical Sky
“Jean Marc is a leading example of how to manage a Tourist Board within the UK market. I worked with him when he was running the St.Lucia Tourist Board & Antigua & Barbuda Tourism Authority whilst working as Commercial Manager at BA Holidays.
Whilst working together on projects our business in these destinations increased significantly over a 5-year period resulting in a consist number of awards won for the highest Year on Year growth of any UK Tour Operator. This was in part due to Jean Marc's vision and collaborative approach.
He is innovative, creative and financially astute when it comes to executing marketing campaigns and driving every last penny out of minimal budgets. His relationship skills are unquestionable and this is illustrated in the high reputation he has acquired from all within the UK travel industry. It has been (and still is) a joy to work with and alongside him.”
Ash Van Wensveen, Managing Director , Swim Trek (Former Head of Product, BA Holidays)
“I have worked with Jean-Marc over the last few years, during his time heading up both the Saint Lucia and Antigua Tourist Authorities in the UK.
During that time, he has worked closely with me as a Tour Operator to enhance relationships and further support the destination to increase bookings. I have attended tradeshows organized by him and his team, both on island and in the UK, which have been a great way to get absolute focus on the specific destination.
I have also attended innovative promotional events such as the Archer Street Beach Shack promotion for Antigua, which raised the destination profile in new ways and to new audiences. Members of my team were also lucky enough to attend a unique FAM trip organized by Jean-Marc for content writers, which enabled us to enhance our social presence with Antigua.”
Jenny Peart, Product Manager, Caribtours / Private Travel Company (Former Destination Manager BA Holidays / Product Manager, Kenwood Travel)
“I have worked with Jean Marc now for over 12 years at Sunset and it has been a pleasure to work on joint strategies for his portfolio of clients. We did some exciting initiatives with the B2C segment under the St Lucia umbrella and together we grew our number 13% in 2015. We would highly recommend his services as we feel he has initiated some very unique and creative campaigns which deliver both mass and niche specialist market. His services are professional, and he has a strong reputation as a result.”
Shamira Kaumaya, Commercial Director, Sunset Faraway Holidays
“We worked very closely with Jean-Marc whilst he was running the Saint Lucia Tourist Board and the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority. It was an absolute joy to work with him and the team, the campaigns that he created and we were part of most definitely introduced our brand to new and different markets and also drove incremental business for each of the islands. The energy and passion that Jean-Marc demonstrates on a daily basis is the key to relationships and partnership he has with the key stakeholders of the UK’s Luxury Travel Industry.”
